WTA Finals: Making the Photo

My role: Editor, colorist, post-producer, media manager

The WTA puts together the Iconic Photo every year; a group image of the top 8 singles players and top 16 doubles players in the world. In 2024, they wanted to make it even grander by having each player styled and have their hair and makeup done on-site, all while a camera crew follows them around to document the two days. I was the on-site editor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for this event, responsible for ingesting all the footage and editing the over 7 hours of footage down to this docustyle edit. With only two days to turn this edit around, it was a true grind but I’m really proud of what I was able to pull off.
